About the Globe
The Lenox Desktop Globe has a striking and classic appearance, perfect for any home or office environment. The country boundaries on this 12’’ (30.5cm) globe ball are illustrated through colourful landmasses, which really compliment the antique coloured ocean. The bronze-painted meridian and walnut stained solid hardwood base further emphasise this particular globe’s antique feel.
The stunning and up-to-date cartography highlights over 4000 place names, making the Lenox a perfect reference tool for avid explorers or those simply curious about the world. Dotted across the oceans are intricate illustrations of voyages and vessels of great explorers, starting with the Vikings in the North, through to the Tudors and more, which is a stunning extra feature. The Lenox also features raised relief, highlighting the world’s main mountain ranges in a tactile way and adding another dimension to this product.
This particular globe is made using traditional techniques which have been used for centuries, adding character to the Lenox and making this product perfectly imperfect. The Lenox comes fully assembled and also includes a booklet on how to use, enjoy, and care for your globe. This globe is assembled in the heart of the United Kingdom, in Corby, Northamptonshire.
