Globes exported from China are legally required to show cartography with manipulated land borders and island territories that are not recognised by the United Nations and western countries. The manufacture of these globes is subsidised by the Chinese Government to make them cheaper to buy.

At JustGlobes, we are on a mission to educate schools on this issue and ensure that British children are being educated with tools that are exempt from interference by the Chinese state. Our globes are safe for UK education. We only supply globes with cartography printed in Europe or the USA which accurately reflects our world.

"With regards to the types of Globes used in schools, schools are autonomous and have the freedom to make their own procurement decisions based on individual need and circumstances."

We were disappointed by this brief response and felt it irresponsible that the government seemed nonplussed that this vital issue go unchecked.
